The Insane Inflatable 5K Detroit, MI — a fun and dynamic 5K, made up solely of inflatable obstacles — will challenge you, surprise you, and leave you bouncing back for more! We didn’t just throw together a couple slides and bounce houses – we took imagination and creativity, and went to the leading manufacturer of custom inflatables. We told them to throw out the rulebook; we want to go INSANE!

    RACE AID

  • All events will have medics on site.

  • There will be two water stations available for people who are doing the run. One will be halfway on the course, and the second will be at the finish line in the festival area.

    • SPECTATORS

  • All spectators can attend for free.

    • PARKING

  • For those that do not have the Metropark Motor Vehicle Entry Permit, there will be a $10 daily entry fee, which can be paid with cash, checks and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discovery).

  • Carpooling is HIGHLY encouraged

    • AFTER PARTY

  • After conquering our obstacle course, the Insane Midway isn’t a bad place to kick back, grab something to eat and relive the experience with friends and family.

  • Spectators get into the event FREE, so make sure to bring your whole crew.

  • The Insane Midway changes from event to event, but there is a little something for everyone including food trucks, games, music and sponsor activities.

  • While you’re there don’t forget to grab some of our awesome merchandise to help commemorate the entire experience!

  • The Insane Inflatable course is one like you’ve never experienced in any other race. We spent countless hours huddled together trying to make each obstacle as unique, challenging, and most importantly — FUN — as possible.

  • The course length will always be approximately a 5K distance (3.1 miles), yet each venue provides it own unique terrain.

  • We’re looking for energetic individuals and organizations to provide great customer service to our Insane Inflatable 5K participants.

  • Please note that Saturday volunteers do not have the ability to run the course.

    2 Types of Discounts Available:

  • 1) We offer military members and their families $5 off their order.
    When registering for an event, you can enter the military discount code USA5 in the ‘Discount Code’ box at checkout.

  • 2) In order to receive a 20% family discount, you'll need to have at least ONE Insane Inflatable 5K ticket and ONE Krazy Kids Inflatable 5K ticket in your cart. You'll then input the code FAMILY into the promo code box and hit Apply.

  • The American Cancer Society is the nationwide voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. The Insane Inflatable 5K has chosen the organization as our charity of choice. A portion of the proceeds from each event support the local Relay For Life in each community an Insane Inflatable 5K is held.
