ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Course Description:

Prepare yourself for a day that you won’t stop talking about. From the mud to the hills to the guts to the glory, your Daniel Barden Mudfest experience will be more than memorable from start to finish. The DBM is not a typical “Mud Run” or a Running Race. Having a mud pit and simply getting you dirty isn’t enough. Our goal is to combine unique obstacles and challenges, along with running or walking.

RACE AID

Local EMS and firefighters onsite.

We will have at least two water station on the 5k course and another for the 5 mile which follows along the 5k for most of the run. For more information on locations throughout the course, please talk to an event official on the event day.

Warm water showers/hoses WILL be provided

SPECTATORS

We allow you to bring lawn chairs, strollers, video recorders, cameras, and purses/bags. We cannot allow outside food, alcohol, or any pets into the event.

We will provide transportation for spectators to watch and cheer for the athletes along different sections of the course.

PARKING

FREE. Parking will close so you should be able to easily go to your car afterwards

AFTER PARTY

Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Live music will also be a part of the post-race party. CASH ONLY

FAQ

OBSTACLES

The Mud Run is not supposed to be about getting a faster time than your buddy, so it’s fine by us if you want to skip an obstacle. The way we see it, you are there to have fun and get a real sense of achievement at the end. If you think a particular obstacle isn’t going to do this for you, just go around it—no shame there.

However, if you are skipping an obstacle just to improve your time, then we think you’re only cheating yourself. You paid to run the course. Why not actually do it?

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Volunteering is the next best way to get down and dirty! We rely on our volunteers for many jobs before and during race day. Volunteers help with registration, obstacle setup and management on Kids course, 5K and 5-mile, clean-up, crowd questions, and photography.
