The Highlander Assault Obstacle Race Series was born from the trenches. Founded by seasoned obstacle racers with prior race director experience. The Highlander Team wanted to create a unique event that challenged, but also left room for everyone to enjoy. The Team decided to create four different distances to meet the demand from the novice to the professional racer. 

The event itself is also unique as there is a Scottish Highland Game theme to give each racer a unique experience. From our Caber obstacle, to the castle climbs, to the plethora of kilts on hand, Highlander creates an old world feel for a new world athletic event. The Highlander Team looks forward to 2019, with new obstacles, facility upgrades, new trails and much much more!

    HIGHLANDER ASSAULT OCR 2019

    RACE AID

  • There will be a paramedic crew onsite.

  • We will have attendants at the obstacles and in the event an aid is not present, an emergency radio will be available at each obstacle.

  • There will be four water stations including the finish line. The Finish line will also include fruit or energy bars or both.

    • SPECTATORS

  • FREE. We believe that our warriors can use all of the support they can get to defeat this course. So come on out and support your favorite warriors!

    • PARKING

  • $10. Due to limited parking space there will be a fee of $10 for general parking.

  • Want to feel like a V.I.P.? We will also offer a limited amount of V.I.P. parking for an upgraded fee.

  • Handicap parking will also be available for the $10 fee next to the Highlander Stage.

    • AFTER PARTY

  • The Highlander Stage will have available food service, beer sales, a merchandise venue, D.J. entertainment, contests, games, and sponsor booths.

  • The course would have a 4 mile option containing 21 obstacles, an 8 mile option with 32 obstacles, a 12 mile elite option with 56 obstacles, and the endurance option (King Arthur’s Challenge) consisting of 24 miles with 102 obstacles.
