ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Course Description:
To Honor, Respect & Remember, our men and women in uniform, past and present, is the pledge of our organization.
The “FrankenMüdder” was created to support Michigan Heroes Museum, a one-of-a-kind museum dedicated to telling the stories of Michigan men and women who have answered their country’s call, sometimes paying with their own lives, to defend our freedoms in time of war or to explore beyond the boundaries of Earth. All profits from this event will go directly to the museum in order to help continue their mission to “Honor, Respect, & Remember” these Michigan heroes by telling the stories of “ordinary people thrust into extraordinary times”.
The FrankenMüdder is a 3-mile “boot camp” style run featuring 15+ challenging obstacles – some more formidable than others- that involve climbing, running, crawling, swimming…and of course MUD. The second-year event will take place Saturday, July 18th, 2015, with a goal of raising $25,000 for Michigan Heroes Museum.
In addition, we seek to raise awareness of the museum among the 500-plus participants, their family members, and guests. Please consider participating in, attending, or sponsoring this event as a way to show your support for those Michigan heroes who served in the past and are serving today.
